The Gambier Island Local Trust Committee is reaching out to the public about a proposal for Keats Island.
District Lot 696, a 93-hectare property could be up for rezoning as developers are looking to build a 110 strata lot subdivision of existing cottage leaseholder lots.
Sonja Zupanec with the trust committee says there are a number of community amenities that would be included in this application if the rezoning was approved.
She says the developers would be subject to three different covenants as well.
Tomorrow night’s information meeting and public hearing start at 7 and it is at the Gleneagles golf course in West Vancouver.
