Lori Pratt, Chair of the local school board is throwing her hat into the ring for the next municipal election.
She hopes to become the director for the Halfmoon Bay area, a position that’s currently held by Director Garry Nohr.
Pratt believes this is a great time to run as Nohr has indicated he won’t be running again and she believes the SCRD could benefit from having more women at the table.
Pratt says as a mother of three daughters, as well as someone who has lived on the coast for their entire adult life, she believes she has a great perspective to bring forward.
