John Horgan and Dianne Watts popular in Mainstreet surveys

The results are out and the NDP under John Horgan is popular among British Columbians.

According to a Mainstreet Research Poll that was released today, the NDP have a 5 per cent lead over the BC Liberals in the popular vote.

Mainstreet’s Researchers surveyed 817 British Columbians who are over 18 and the results weren’t the same as what they saw during the election.

NDP leads with 38.5% support, the Liberals got 34% support and then the Green Party have 27.6% support.

Research shows that the NDP is most popular in Great Vancouver, among women and also among voters who are younger than 35.

Another survey that was conducted by Mainstreet Research touched up on the BC Liberal Leadership race.

Those who are considered decided voters are in favour of Dianne Watts to become the next leader.

30 per cent of those voters are in favour of Watts and Andrew Wilkinson sits at second with 21.3 per cent support.
