Strongs winds left thousands of BC Hydro customers on the Sunshine Coast and in Nanaimo in the dark last night.
Hydro crews worked through the night and managed to restore a majority of the power in our listening area.
But there are still some people who are in the dark.
Overall, more than 180,000 people have had their power restored since last night’s wind storm.
BC Hydro crews will continue to work today and hope to have the power back on as soon as possible.
