Nanaimo RCMP is asking for the public’s assistance in locating the owner of several items found under suspicious circumstances.
One of the items is a jewelry box containing 3 rings.
The items were seized by the RCMP almost a month ago after a suspect was chased off by a witness after an attempted theft from a vehicle on Garner Crescent.
Police also seized a variety of cosmetic jewellery and electronics during the arrest.
Investigators figure the items were most likely stolen from a vehicle or home.
