Code of conduct drafted for Ladysmith public facilities

People using Ladysmith’s public facilities will now have to follow a code of conduct.

Mayor Aaron Stone says Town staff, and several groups – including the Festival of Lights committee – came to Council asking for a clear policy.

Stone says the signs going up at the facilities will explain the code, and the punishments for breaking it, such as asking the person or group to leave, or imposing short and long term bans.

He also says they’ll track any violations so there’s a record of repeat offenders.
