Nanaimo RCMP are looking for the rightful owner of some cash found in a purse donated to the Value Village at University Heights Mall.
Constable Gary O’Brien says the small green purse was dropped off last Friday.
O’Brien says a significant amount of cash was found inside.
O’Brien says they’re also investigating a theft from a Tim Horton’s franchise on the Island Hwy in North Nanaimo.
About $10,000 worth of tools were taken. He says many were labelled with the letters EF or DB.
