The Town of Ladysmith is going to be improving signage throughout the community.
Mayor Aaron Stone says Council feels signs that show directions, parking and access in the town need an upgrade.
So they’ve come up with a Signage Initiatives Project, which is being folded into the budget.
The budget is already calling for a tax increase of around 8 per cent, but Stone says the Town is applying for a gas tax grant of nearly 240 thousand dollars to help pay for the project.
