One man is in custody after a weekend incident on Texada Island.
RCMP were called out Saturday night by reports of a fight and shots fired at a house on Gillies Bay Road.
When police got there they found a man with a shotgun, who was arrested.
RCMP say two people were hurt, but not from gunfire.
A woman was treated and released from Powell River General Hospital, and a man had to be airlifted to Vancouver with significant head injuries.
54 year-old Randall Colin Fleet has been charged with assault and weapons offences.
