Sunshine Coast Regional District Directors are through their first round of budget discussions.
Round two is scheduled for three days starting March 9th, and SCRD Chair Garry Nohr says there are a few items they’ll have to revisit. Including how to use money coming to the RD through the Multi Material BC recycling program.
Nohr says at this stage potential tax increases still look quite high; running from 3.17 per cent for Area A to 9.21 (SCRD portion only) for Gibsons to give an average of 5.8
