Oceanside RCMP say they’re still trying to figure out what caused a serious, head-on, collision on Highway 19A Tuesday afternoon, and they’re hoping someone may have seen what happened.
The two cars crashed into each other around 4pm, in the 44-hundred block of the highway in Dashwood.
An 81 year old Bowser woman is in Nanaimo Regional General with very serious injuries. The people in the other car weren’t hurt.
RCMP are asking witnesses to get in touch with Central Island Traffic Services (Cst. Jeff Pelat) at (250) 248-6111.
