North Island Princess shifting to Earls Cove route Jan 19th

Problems with the ship on the Powell River – Comox route are forcing BC Ferries to make temporary changes to the service linking the upper and lower Sunshine Coast

The Queen of Burnaby will be pulled from service January 19th to repair a propeller hub.  While the work is being done, the MV Island Sky will operate on a modified schedule between Comox, Texada Island and Powell River.

Ferries will move the North Island Princess, the usual Texada vessel, to the Saltery Bay – Earls Cove route on a modified schedule from January 19th to the 25th.
