Nanaimo RCMP are asking for the public’s help in locating a man wanted on charges related to theft and sexual assault.

Peter Ludvigson, 50, has several outstanding warrants stemming from two incidents.

Police said he is facing charges after allegedly stealing jackets and pants from a clothing store on Uplands Drive in January and in connection with an alleged sexual assault at a gas station in central Nanaimo in 2025.

He is described as a Caucasian man who stands five feet 11 inches tall and weighs about 210 pounds. Police said he is balding, has brown eyes and several tattoos. The photo provided is recent.

Anyone with information about Ludvigson’s whereabouts is asked to contact the Nanaimo RCMP non-emergency line at 250-754-2345.
