Investigators in Nanaimo are looking for a suspect after a weekend fire which damaged four vehicles.

The fire started around 5:30 a.m. on Sunday, March 30 in the 100 block of Prideaux Street, near the intersection with Comox Avenue.

Fire crews were on site when RCMP officers arrived, with building occupants evacuated outside of the building.

The fire destroyed four unoccupied vehicles and caused extensive smoke damage to the side of the building.
