A New Westminster man facing five charges of sexual assault has been banned from the Sunshine Coast.
The 28-year-old man was arrested after a series of incidents in Sechelt and Gibsons between January 24 and 26, involving unwanted sexual touching.
He is now facing charges, and cannot be named until they are approved. He was released on the condition he stay away from the Sunshine Coast until his court date.
Police are thanking the individuals who quickly came forward to report the incidents and say their courage has been instrumental in advancing the investigation.
