A crash in Coombs has claimed the life of a 36-year-old man.
On Thursday evening around 8:00 p.m., first responders were called to a vehicle rollover in the 2300 block of Alberni Highway.
They found one occupant in the vehicle.
The driver was rushed to hospital in critical condition but succumbed to their injuries.
Oceanside RCMP along with the Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Service are investigating along with the BC Coroners Service.
No witnesses have been identified, and RCMP are asking for anyone with surveillance footage depicting a green Dodge Ram pickup truck heading west on the Alberni Highway around the time of the crash to contact them.
The driver’s identity has not been released, and the cause of the crash remains under investigation.
