RCMP are looking for witnesses to an accident that took place on the Sunshine Coast Highway near Byng Road in Roberts Creek.
According to police, a red Chevy pickup truck collided with a gray Toyota Yaris after it had veered into oncoming traffic.
Police say the driver of the truck was transported to hospital, and the driver of the Yaris fled the scene prior to RCMP arriving on the scene.
Sunshine Coast RCMP say anyone with information is asked to contact the detachment at 604-885-2266.
