A total of $220,000 will be up for grabs starting next year and the Sunshine Coast Foundation says organizations can now apply for a chunk of that money starting in January.
The program will be called the Sunshine Coast Prosperity Fund, and according to the foundation, the money will go to assist with financial stability to plan longer-term projects, making it easier for organizations to focus on impactful outcomes rather than short-term fundraising.
Applicants can apply through a link leading directly to the Sunshine Coast Prosperity Fund and they can also view the key days and eligibility requirements.
Applications officially open on Jan. 15, at 9:00 a.m. and will close on Feb. 5, at 5:00 p.m.
The fund is primarily offered by the provincial government through a $25 million investment that was announced on BC Nonprofit Day.
