The Conservative Party of BC continues to fill out their roster ahead of October’s fall election.
Dale Parker has been announced as the candidate for the Nanaimo-Gabriola region, replacing Viraat BK Thammanna who was asked to suspend his campaign last week.
Parker has worked for over 30 years in the business and IT fields, working as a consultant, manager, and senior technical advisor in both the public and private sectors.
Parker contributes to volunteer groups, including the National Forum of Ministers Responsible for Women and Gender Equality.
He’ll run against the current MLA, the NDP’s Sheila Malcolmson, and Green Party candidate Shirley Lambrecht.
The Conservative’s roster is near completion ahead of the October 19 election, having filled 87 of 93 spots according to their website.
