Sunshine Coast RCMP say an arrest has been made after $1,000 worth of tools were stolen from a supply store in Gibsons.
Police say after reviewing security footage they’ve taken one man into custody after he was caught taking the tools from the store without paying for them.
They add this isn’t the only theft they believe he is involved in.
“Investigation determined the same suspect is believed to have stolen tools from a building supply store in Sechelt,” they say.
Charges of theft have been recommended to the Crown Counsel by police.
