There was a stabbing in the vicinity of the Old City Pub on Skinner Street in Nanaimo in the early morning hours yesterday.
A man was rushed to hospital with multiple stab wounds following an altercation outside of the nightclub.
The victim, 35, received emergency first aid from the first responders on the scene and was then transported to hospital, where he’s being treated for serious, but non-life threatening injuries.
Several people were involved in the melee that is believed to have led to the stabbing and those people are in police custody.
