The RCMP are looking for some stolen tents.
The nine tents were discovered missing just as the Grade 7 class at Departure Bay Elementary were about to go on a year-end camping trip.
Mounties say the parents rallied and found more than enough tents to replace the stolen ones.
Mounties say thieves cut locks to an outside fenced in area and made off with the tents and several bags of refundable plastic recyclables sometime between Friday evening and 9:30 Sunday morning.
No descriptions of the stolen tents are available.
