It happened back on April 18th at a home in the 600 block of North Road in Gibsons.
Police were called to the home just after 7 that morning.
A 33-year-old man suffered serious injuries.
Two men, who are known to police and the victim, were arrested.
Mounties say the assault was a targeted one.
