RCMP say they appear to have been intentionally set in the downtown core just after midnight on Sunday (April 28th).
The first of the two fires was in the lower level of the Bastion Street parkade and the second fire, minutes later, was at Golds Automotive, located at the intersection of Wallace and Fitzwilliam Streets.
Fire crews attended both incidents and extinguished the fires without any damages.
Investigators have learned that two men were seen lighting the fire in the parkade and fled the scene, but no description is available.
Given the close proximity of the two fires and the time that they were reported, investigators believe they are connected.
