It’s not too late to join the BMO April Fool’s Run on the Sunshine Coast.
The 42nd edition of the event goes this Sunday (April 7) and although the online registration is done, runners can still pick up a package tomorrow (April 4), Saturday or Sunday.
On race day, over 600 runners, walkers, and relay team members will make their way from Park Road in Gibsons to Mission Point Park in Davis Bay beginning around quarter after 9.
After a loop on Pratt, Chaster, and King in Upper Gibsons, runners will head to Roberts Creek via Lower Road, Beach Avenue and Marlene Road, before running along the highway past Wilson Creek to Mission Point Park.
Local residents along the route are encouraged to come out to cheer and play music.
The event raises money for the Sunshine Coast Food Bank.
