Sunshine Coast Tourism has won the contract to operate the Visitor Information Centre for the District of Sechelt.
The District will pay 40,000 dollars for the Centre.
Other projected income to help with operations includes 15,000 dollars from Destination BC, revenue of 6,000 dollars from the sale of souvenirs and maps, and 5,000 dollars in fees for displaying promotional material from tourism operators.
The Centre has been closed since the end of December when the Community Services Society decided to ends its agreement with the District.
Just when the Visitor Information Centre will re-open hasn’t been determined.
