A 10-hectare wildfire is being dealt with along Rush Creek on Vancouver Island.
Dorthe Jakobsen, Media spokesperson for the Coastal Fire Centre says the fire was discovered sometimes on the weekend and they’ve got a crew working to put out the fire.
Jacobsen says the public’s safety is not at risk and they’re currently investigating what or who caused the fire to start.
