A multicultural festival is being organized in Sechelt today. (Fri June 29th)
Sandy Middleton, Program Manager of Welcoming Communities at Capilano University says many ethnicities will be represented at this event and she’s encouraging everyone to come out, especially if you’re new to the Sunshine Coast.
Middleton says it’s also a chance for people to show their home cultures with pride and also network with others in the community.
The free event is taking place at the Seaside Centre and the library in Sechelt and it goes from 4-8 and there will be lots of activities for people to enjoy.
