Four cars suffered significant damages after an incident in Davis Bay.
Sunshine Coast RCMP responded to the accident around noon today (Monday) on highway 101 and the department’s media spokesperson Constable Karen Whitby believes it was a case of distracted driving that caused the incident.
The driver then failed to stop before hitting the car in front of them and then the two other cars were also hit due to the chain reaction. Whitby says alcohol and speed were not a factor.
All four cars had to be towed but no one suffered any serious injuries.
