Gibsons has a new operator when it comes to the Visitor Information Centre.
Sunshine Coast Tourism has signed a three year deal to manage it.
Paul Kaymon says Sunshine Coast Tourism will provide the service, staffing and collateral material in the centre but the town will provide the facility.
He says the facility, in Pioneer Square, is in pretty rough shape and they are working with the Town to fix that problem…..
In the meantime, following an extensive hiring process, Wendy Wright of Gibsons has taken over the role of Visitor Services Manager.
Local business owners and operators are invited to stop in and chat with Wright, whose previous role was with the Gibsons Public Market.
