Sunshine Coast employers are having a difficult time finding employees and they’re hoping seniors are the solution.
A focus group is being organized at the Seniors Activity Centre Wednesday and local organizations want to talk with retirees and people over the age of 65 about reentering the workforce.
Theressa Logan with the Sechelt Chamber of Commerce says employers can’t find part-time workers as young people tend to graduate and leave the coast.
