The District of Sechelt is trying out a new page on their website.
The page will be called “For the Record” and the idea of the page is to give the public a chance to fact check on some of the questions they may have.
Sechelt’s Communications Manager Julie Rogers says council gets a lot of emails and they’re also seeing some false information that gets posted on social media.
The new page can be found at Sechelt.ca/fortherecord. New questions from the public and answers will be posted on a weekly basis.
