Some ferries have been swapped out to accommodate an annual refit and recertification for the Coastal Celebration.
The vessel will be removed from service on the Swartz Bay – Tsawwassen route this Wednesday until mid May.
It means the Coastal Inspiration, which runs between Duke Point and Tsawwassen will be moved to Swartz Bay and the Queen of Coquitlam will sail in in it’s place.
Commercial operators should know the Queen of Coquitlam doesn’t have the same height clearance as the Coastal Celebration and the travelling publuc should know it cannot carry as many vehicles.
To ensure travel on a specific sailing, customers are encouraged to make reservations, however there have also been additional sailings scheduled to make up for the smaller deck.
