Community steps up to support Salvation Army

The Salvation Army on the Sunshine Coast will continue their regular services providing for the less fortunate thanks to the gernouristy of the community.

Inge Hardman, the kettle coordinator on the Sunshine Coast says they need to raise about $120 000 to maintain and continue with their yearly food bank feeding services and the community donated more than that during the holidays.

Hardman says they saw an increase in volunteers for the kettle campaign as well and it speaks to the generosity of this community.
