Petition to speed up homeless shelter process gaining lots of attention

An online petition to speed up the process of the Homeless shelter in Sechelt is gaining lots of attention.

Eleonora Molnar, a Roberts Creek resident started the petition this past weekend and the petition has already gained more than 1400 signatures.

Molnar says she started this petition because an expanded shelter that has increased safety is badly needed on the Sunshine Coast.

Molnar brings up the fact that it’s been two years since Harry Paul died out in the cold and she says we need to do what it takes to prevent that tragedy from happening again.
