Although not many details can be unveiled about the dog rescue in Porpoise Bay last week, the three dogs are with the SPCA and they’re doing well.
Cindy Krapiec who runs the SPCA in Sechelt says they and the RCMP got a call from a concerned citizen last week about some dogs that were left on a boat and it was starting to sink.
Krapiec says she can’t comment on the condition that they found the dogs in but they have been taken care of.
She says the word got out quick, they’ve received many requests to adopt these dogs and now the SPCA is no longer accepting applications for them.
