Persephone brewery is anticipating some great news from the provincial government about ALR lands.
Over the last couple of years, the local brewery has been trying to change the rules for all of BC so that breweries don’t need it to grow at least half of the raw material that’s needed for the brewing on the farm where the brewery is.
Brian Smith, Owner of the Persephone says this has been a long time coming.
Smith doesn’t have a precise timeline of when this will come to fruition but notes that the ministry has expressed their support.
