Gibsons believes legislation on limited spending for local election will be positive

The Mayor of Gibsons believes limiting the amount of money that can be spent on local elections is a positive step forward.
Wayne Rowe admits that he did spend a hefty amount of on his last campaign, but noted that this change won’t have an impact on the next election.

Rowe spent nearly $28,000 in the previous campaign and received around receiving $20 000 in contributions from corporations.
