The final plan for phase 2 of the Suncoaster Trail hasn’t been determined yet, but officials have a better idea of what the public wants to see and the project is moving forward.
Andrew Allen, the SCRD’s manager of planning and development says a route connecting neighbourhoods and schools with existing trails was important to stakeholders.
This is a multi-use trail, connecting the the Earl’s Cove Ferry to the Langdale Ferry.
Allen says a grant of more than $57,000 will help the logistics but a capital budget hasn’t been developed.
