Over 300 participants in the Pulling Together Canoe Journey began their 10-day journey on the Sunshine Coast this weekend.
Rhiannon Bennett, President of the Pulling Together Society says they have people from public service agencies and Indigenous people come together to work on reconciliation and to build relationships.
Bennett says it’s beautiful to watch these relationships that are built and to work on healing and moving forward in a more meaningful way.
The journey will wrap up on Saturday at Ambleside Park in West Vancouver.
