BC Ferries is trying something new on the Langdale-Horseshoe Bay route starting Wednesday.
The idea is to hold all of the foot passengers until the cars are loaded onto the ferry at the Langdale terminal, and then the foot passengers will board the ferry in one group.
BC Ferries spokesperson Deborah Marshall says they are doing this to try and improve their on-time performance.
The one week trial ends next Tuesday and Marshall says their customers are more than welcome to provide their feedback during this trial.
