The local police detachment had a good Canada Day long weekend.
Vishal Mathura, Staff Sergeant of the Sunshine Coast RCMP notes Canada Day and the long weekend is typically busy, they had extra people working but only responded to four complaints on Saturday.
Mathura says traffic on the Sunshine Coast was extremely busy and he’s also surprised that they didn’t get more driving complaints
