Federal Government invests in digital skills program

The Federal government is setting aside $50 million dollars for a digital skills program for kids in kindergarten to grade 12.

Pam Goldsmith-Jones, MP for West Vancouver-Sea to Sky Country-Sunshine Coast says they’re hoping these programs will benefit up to 500,000 kids.

Goldsmith-Jones any organizations that have been delivering education-related programs in afterschool classes or summer camps can apply for the money and then the kids can start learning as early as this fall.
