Affordable housing and rentals will be the main focus of tomorrow’s open house at the Gibsons Public Market.
Matt Thompson with the Sunshine Coast Affordable Housing Society says they’re collaborating with the town for this event and want to inform the public what projects they’re working on.
One of the projects they’re considering is a 30 to 40 unit rental development on one of two sites the town owns.
Thompsons says the drawings and concepts they’ll be displaying are preliminary and there will be opportunities for the community to have their say and provide their input
The open house starts at 5:00.
