The preservation of a historical building on Gibsons Way will be up for discussion at the Committee of the Whole meeting in Gibsons today. (Tues)
The building which was the original home of the Inglis family and a one time host to J.S. Woodsworth is up for sale.
Councillor Silas White says the building has significance and he believes a majority of residents wants it to stay.
One of the proposals is to allow the eventual buyer to develop part of the site and to keep the exterior of the building the exact same for heritage purposes.
