There’s been quite a bit of bear activity throughout the Sunshine Coast lately and the Conservation Officer Services is blaming it on mother nature.
Dean Miller says the drastic change from the colder weather to extremely hot is delaying berry productions.
Miller says it’s good to be on guard around this time of the year because bears are fully out of hibernation now so the public should keep all of their attractants inside. He adds failure to keep attractant inside can also lead to fines.
