A special weather statement is in effect for both the Sunshine Coast and East Vancouver Island.
Lisa West with Environment Canada says we can expect anywhere from 10 to 15 cm of snow starting on Saturday night going into Sunday.
West says the snow should transition into rain by late Sunday afternoon.
