There was an accident on the Sunshine Coast highway, by Flumes Road Saturday.
Constable Constable Harrison Mohr says one car was slowing down to turn onto Flumes when the second car behind them didn’t slow down quick enough.
The man who was airlifted to the hospital is not expected to have any critical injuries and the police do not believe impairment or distracted driving was a factor.
