Canadians are being encouraged to do something nice for someone on Friday as part of Random Act of Kindness Day.
Laurie Bienert with the Nanaimo Foundation says many communities across the country will be participating in the initiative.
She says your act of kindness doesn’t have to cost any money.
Bienert says they’re asking people to share their experience on Twitter by using the hashtag #rakday. Random Act of Kindness Day also coincides with World Kindness Day.
