Nanaimo RCMP have arrested a 48-year-old man in connection with the theft of poppy donations.
Two thefts were reported on Sunday and one was captured on video surveillance.
Within 30 minutes of local media sharing the story with the public, tips started rolling in.
The suspect was arrested on Thursday at 1:30pm. He has been released on a Promise to Appear.
Police are recommending two charges of Theft Under $5000. He’ll be appearing in court on November 17th.
